Nellie is an emerging silversmith who createsone-of-a-kind sterling silver jewellery, but also occasionally works with brass and copper.

Nellie discovered silversmithing at the end of 2023 and is now dividing her time between raising young kids and crafting in her atelier at home. Already Nellie has developed her own style, creating detailed pierce work and combining geometry with floral details, resulting in playful, feminine pieces. She uses predominantly locally sourced or reclaimed gemstones and recycled shells.  

Nellie is also a trained lapidarist and her jewellery features some of her own gemstones.  Nellie is passionate about keeping her craft authentic and true to herself, but with appeal to a wider audience. New ideas come to life once a previous piece is completed, and the process flows organically. Nellie’s designs sprout from beautiful images and memories in her inner world. She is determined to keep learning new techniques and developing her skills.
