Your annual JMGA subscription falls due on 1st July each year. Memberships not renewed before 1st October will be considered lapsed.

*Full Time Student membership applications will require further verification to ensure you are a full time student. We will contact you once you have submitted your application.

**Regional/Interstate Member applies to people who live outside the Perth Metropolitan Area, including people based in other Australian states (The PMA is defined by the state government boundaries, see 
separate documentation for map and further details). 

Areas of Expertise

Please list below any special skills or knowledge you have that you would be prepared to share with other members, either in a workshop or meeting situation (as tutor or speaker, or in group discussion), or that you would be willing to have other members contract you for advice on, should the need arise. e.g. Enameling, anodizing, stone setting, book keeping, wax carving, etc.

Privacy*

As an incorporated body, JMGA WA (Inc) keeps up to date records of members, which is held and maintained by the Secretary, and may be available, upon specific request, for viewing by current financial members only. Unless specified otherwise, your details are recorded on a membership database which is otherwise available only to the Executive Committee for mailing purposes (communications will come to you via email). JMGA WA does not disclose member’s personal information to third parties.

List of Objectives*

List of Objectives *Please Note: It is now a condition of membership that members must read and accept the List of Objectives outlined by the JMGA WA Inc.  Find these listed below or in the About Us section of this website:

- Act as a vehicle by which jewellers and metalsmiths can communicate with each other, and those interested in this area;
- Support the advancement of craft in Australia;- Maintain an exchange of information with similar groups in Australia and overseas;
- Publish newsletters and/or magazines which will be of benefit and promote members and membership;
- Generate funds, for the advancement of the crafts of jewellery and metalsmithing in Australia;
- Become a lobbying force in such areas as legislation affecting jewellers and metalsmiths and exhibitions;
- Consolidate the craft of jewellery and metalwork in Australia as an art form.

JMGAWA Christmas Party and Pin Swap

Our annual Christmas party and Pin Swap event is back on! This is our opportunity to catch up with our fellow jewellers in a casual and relaxed atmosphere, and to have a bit of fun.

Graduate Metal 16

16th September - 11th October 2024

Graduate Metal 16 is an award exhibition of final year works from recent graduates of TAFE, university and polytechnic studios in Australia and New Zealand. Applications for this Award exhibtion will open on THURSDAY 1ST FEBRUARY 2024.

Stone and Lace

Stone and Lace is a collaboration between Tineke Van der Eecken and Desert Fire Designs. The jewellery collection is inspired by Tineke's grandmother's lace-making and uses some of Desert Fire Designs exquisite stones.

The Donnelly Verandah Residencies Exhibition

Each year the Donnelly River Village invites artists to visit the village and respond to the iconic 1950s timber milling village in WA’s southwest.

You are invited to a JMGA WA exclusive open studios event. Tineke is inviting all JMGA WA members to visit her home studio for an opportunity to view the collection from her recent collaboration with Desert Fire Designs, Stone & Lace.
