
Radka Passianova is a Sydne based jewellery and object designer/maker originally from Czechia. She studied Contemporary Jewellery and Object Design at TAFE NSW Design Centre Enmore, graduating in 2008, andcompleted a Master of Design at University of Technology Sydney in2013. Since graduating from DCE, she has taught at TAFE NSW Design Centre Enmore, mentoring emerging makers with a focus on technical skill, material understanding, and conceptual rigour. In 2023, she founded The Metal Space, a metalsmithing studio on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Since 2024, she has also been a sessional lecturer in the Silversmithing Elective at Sydney College of the Arts. Radka has exhibited nationally and internationally. Her practice explores environmental concerns, lived experience, material experimentation, and traditional silversmithing techniques, spanning both wearable and sculptural forms.
