Artist Statement

Technology is ever seamlessly being integrated into our everyday; it’s how we communicate, create and navigate. Advancements in manufacturing processes has meant makers have had to adapt and regularly update their tool kit.

I’m often seeking out new technology and innovative equipment in a bid to keep up with the ever-changing landscape. Exploring the possibilities through the integration of technology and traditional bench skills, I’m interested in how technology can be utilised to aid in the fabrication of ‘hybrid’ objects of adornment.

Pushing the boundaries of the craft, I look to research and develop works which are ultimately powered by machines and made by man and hand.
